IPO follows a structured progression where leadership responsibility increases alongside technical expertise. General Members attend weekly meetings to build financial literacy, and learn from speakers and networking events, without being within a specific sector. To become an Analyst, you can simply fill out a sector preference form at any point in the semester to join a sector. Here, you receive direct training from a Portfolio Manager (PM) during dedicated sector meetings. Senior Analysts take on a leadership role by assisting PMs in managing these sectors, while the Executive Board provides high-level oversight for the entire organization.
